A WORLD THAT CAN BE SEEN ACROSS BOUNDARIES
As a special exhibition of the BE*hive, “NOWHERE PEOPLE: THE WORLD’S STATELESS is now being held”.
With the cooperation of the UNHCR Office in Japan, volunteer students selected eight photos from Mr. Constantine’s work. These photos focus on women, from the viewpoint of statelessness.
Last year, I saw a photograph that touched my heart. It was the work of Mr. Greg Constantine. When I was standing in front of the photo, I was pulled into a silent world without color. Examining the depth of his work, I am confronted about the meaning of “who I am” and “why I exist”.Each piece of work speaks to us and the space where the work interacts with “I” spreads.
Beyond nationality and ethnicity, we all exist on earth as “humans”.
A peaceful society without conflict; a society in which being tolerable is natural; a society where we can live as we are, without discrimination and prejudice; a society where nature, animals and humans live together in symbiosis …
What kind of future will you draw?
This photo exhibition was planned by undergraduate and graduate students (of Sacred University)
