Kim Thuy Profile
Born in 1968 in Saigon, (Ho Chi Minh City) Vietnam. In the aftermath of the Vietnam War, they left the country as boat people with their families. She applied for immigration to Canada and currently live in Quebec. In 2010, she presented her first novel, Ogawa, based on her experiences with refugees. This work receives the Canadian Governor General Literature Award.
