1.【March 14】Prof. Nagata recommends「都市を耕す エディブルシティ」”Edible City”
日時:March 14,2022 (Mon) 2:00 p.m.~4:00 p.m.
◆Message from Prof. Nagata

In this film, you will meet the people who “cultivate the city”. It may be an intense encounter with people. However, I believe that these people will deliver an important message for your own life, which is why I chose this film.

2.【March 15】Student Organizations “Hana-Hana SDGs” recommends「難民キャンプで暮らしてみたら」”Salam Neighbor”
日時:March 15,2022 (Mon) 2:00 p.m.~4:00 p.m.
◆Message from “Hana-Hana SDGs”

With the spread of the COVID-19, our lives have changed drastically. In addition, the current international situation is completely different from what it was before the COVID-19. However, it is precisely in these difficult times that it is essential for international peace to be mindful of others.
We think this movie is the perfect way to connect with others and the world!

3.【March 16】Associate Prof. Saito recommends「おクジラさま ふたつの正義の物語」
日時:March 16,2022 (Mon) 2:00 p.m.~4:00 p.m.
◆Message from Associate Prof. Saito

The film which focuses on whaling and dolphin fishing in Taiji Town, Wakayama Prefecture, asks various questions about the “values” that surround us, including “food”, which is the most important aspect of human life. Don’t we usually ignore or shun people who have different “values” from ours? Why don’t you think about “values” and its “rightness” through this film?

4.【March 17】Student Organizations “Hana-Hana SDGs” ×”SHRET” recommend「プラスチックの海」”A Plastic Ocean”
日時:March 17,2022 (Mon) 2:00 p.m.~4:00 p.m.
◆Message from “Hana-Hana SDGs” ×”SHRET”

It is a film that shows the “connection” between our lives and the ocean. We think it will give you a chance to think about the “plastic waste problem” that we hear about these days. Please watch it!

5.【March 18】Associate Prof. Kamiishi recommends 「ヴィック・ムニーズ ごみアートの奇跡」”Waste Land”
日時:March 18,2022 (Mon) 2:00 p.m.~4:00 p.m.
◆Message from Associate Prof. Kamiishi

Art is probably not an essential part of human life. But art can change something. In the film, there are people who are picking up trash at a huge landfill on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. The artist Vik Muniz meets them. As a result, people’s “daily lives,” “consciousness,” and “lives” change.
Garbage ceases to be garbage, and Muniz also changes. And I’m sure that everyone watching the movie will too. Why don’t you come and experience the power of art?
